Semiconductor Equipment & Fab Maintenance Training

ESCT Fab Support delivers hands-on training for the engineers and technicians who keep semiconductor wafer-fab equipment running. Our courses are built and taught by trainers with 25+ years of direct semiconductor fab experience, delivered at your site and tailored to your tools — covering Applied Materials (AMAT), LAM Research and Tokyo Electron (TEL) equipment across 200mm and 300mm fabs.

How our training is delivered

On-site at your fab

Courses are delivered at your facility, on your own equipment and in your environment.

Small classes

Up to four people per class, so every trainee gets hands-on time and attention.

50/50 classroom & cleanroom

A balance of classroom theory and practical, hands-on work on real tools.

Engineer-led

Taught by trainers with 25+ years of direct semiconductor fab experience.

High-quality materials

Clear, well-produced course materials your team can keep and reference.

Tailored to your tools

Content is built around the platforms and processes you actually run.

How it works

A simple route from enquiry to a course your team will actually use.

1

Scope

Tell us your tools, your team’s level and what you want them to be able to do.

2

Tailor

We shape the course content and balance of classroom and cleanroom to suit.

3

Deliver

We run the course on-site, hands-on, for up to four trainees at a time.

4

Support

Your team keeps the materials, and we’re available for follow-up project support.

Why train with ESCT Fab Support

Skilled people are what keep a fab running. As experienced engineers retire and tools age, the practical knowledge needed to maintain legacy and current equipment becomes harder to find. Our training puts that knowledge directly into your team — taught by engineers who have spent decades working on these exact platforms.

Training also reinforces the rest of your support strategy. A well-trained team gets more from every repair, upgrade and qualified part we supply — improving uptime and reducing your reliance on outside support over time.

Training FAQs

What training courses do you offer?

We run OEM equipment training, semiconductor maintenance training and broader fab equipment training. Course topics include AMAT Endura hardware and best-known methods, PVD and CVD process, Centura and Endura handling and setup, and WxZ/WSiX tungsten hardware and processing. We also build custom courses and provide project support on request.

Where is the training delivered?

Training is delivered on-site at your fab, on your own equipment and in your own environment, so what your team learns transfers directly to the tools they work on.

How many people can attend each course?

Classes are kept small — up to four people per class — so every trainee gets meaningful hands-on time and individual attention.

What does a typical course look like?

Courses are split roughly 50/50 between classroom theory and practical, hands-on cleanroom work on real tools, supported by high-quality course materials your team can keep and reference afterwards.

Who delivers the training?

Our courses are built and taught by trainers with 25+ years of direct semiconductor fab experience on the platforms they teach.

Can you create a custom course for our tools?

Yes. If you don’t see the course you need, we develop bespoke training around your specific tools, processes and team. Tell us what you need through our contact page and we’ll put a programme together.
